I’m 25 weeks and my pain threshold is basically zero. Is labour a really excruciating pain or more of a cramp? Im terrified but want to be prepared!

I'm personally really not good with pain in the slightest, think the important thing is having your pain management plan in place.
The early stages for me were like bad period cramps then period cramps plus stomach cramps, progressively getting more and more intense and starting to hurt.
We were told to hold off going in till I was further along and needed help so I dealt with the brunt of it at home with bath, hot water bottles and stretching. You know your own limits though.
The worst part is the pushing stage, won't sugar coat, it hurts. But your adrenaline is pumping, you just have to push through.
Once its over there's this wave of relief, exhaustion and almost euphoria when you meet your little one.

I am bad with pain - this is my first baby. I'm personally going to be taking absolutely everything they will give me 😁

I’m terrible with pain but with labour it was painful but so different to usual pain as you’re full of adrenaline and everything else that’s going on! I used gas and air and they did give me an epidural but it didn’t have enough time to take affect because little one came to quick for it😂 she’s my first and I can say for me it wasn’t as bad and horrific as I expected it to be, I worked myself up far too much thinking it would all go wrong so when it happened I was surprised with the outcome. Everyone is different so just take things as they come and go in with an open mind☺️x

You cant describe the pain, i hate pain but pain threshold is rubbish , i had two epidurals and proud of it , i dont understand how people give birth just with gas and air stuff that

Go in open minded , dont rule things out

I don’t cope well with pain at all! I cry every time I have to have an injection. However during labor I really surprised myself. Something in you takes over and you manage much better than expected. From what I can remember I had back pain but I took everything the offered had and air, morphine and I even had an epidural when I said I never wanted one as I thought it would hurt. I can’t believe how well I coped I surprised everyone and you will too. Just remember whatever you go through and the pain you have is all worth it once you hold your baby in your arms. You’ve got this mama you will be amazing! Stay positive and that will help you. Practice breathing techniques and remind yourself to use are strong and your doing this for your baby! X
