Baby not engaged at 39 weeks

Anyone have some positive stories for their babies engaging quickly later in pregnancy after being not engaged at all? 39 weeks now and baby is still not engaged and it’s starting to stress me a little as I’ve been told they don’t want me to go over 41 weeks as baby is 95th centile but I don’t want an induction if I can avoid it. If baby is still not engaged at 40 weeks should I be worried?

No positive story but I'm almost 39 weeks and baby isn't engaged yet either. I don't think it's anything to be worried about as they can move down at any point now. Sending lots of positive vibes x

As long as baby is head down then don’t worry. My midwife mentioned that some babies heads do not get engaged until labour starts! Keep being active and hopefully it will change x

First or 2nd baby? If 2nd they do tend to pop in and out of the pelvis. If first baby then try curb walking, walking up stairs and hip rotations on a ball x

first baby, I think that’s why I’m worrying

if baby is not engaged before labour, it might be something to do with the way baby is presenting which might significantly impact the outcome of vaginal birth. I would advice asking more questions and make an educated choice. Although there is a significant % of babies that turn during labour, however this is not something guaranteed though.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
