My baby has been sleeping on an incline since 4 days old as per the doctor, my baby projectile vomit choked on it and was turning blue so since then our pediatrician has said to have him sleep on an incline. Now he’s getting so big and he wiggles himself to the bottom of his bassinet it worries me when I wake up and see him scrunched up. I was thinking of getting rid of the incline to see how he sleeps but I’m nervous Incase he throws up like that again. Never happpened again but I’m just been so paranoid since then. We treat him like he has reflux but honestly I don’t think he does. We do the 30 min upright after he eats and he’s on sensitive formula since he thru up. It wasn’t normal spit up. It was everywhere.
Should I keep the incline for now or try without.

I would consult with your doctor your concerns and see what they say

I’m actually having the same problem right now. My baby has reflux so they want him on an incline because he starts to choke and struggle to breathe in the middle of the night but he’s getting so big he’s wiggling himself to the bottom and is all scrunched. I go back to my pediatrician on the 30th I’m going to see what he suggests.

@Daniella SAME! Even without the Incline, she wiggles her way through the night to the foot of the bassinett and is scrunched up. She has GERD and medication also.

My baby has reflux and around 2 months old we weaned her off the incline and increased her famotidine dosage. She choked bad yesterday during a nap but I can’t remember the last time that happened. You could try to reduce the incline and do it progressively

We’ve done rice cereal in his bottle and it helped so much with this!

Def talk to a doctor first but maybe slowly decline a tiny bit every few nights until your level.
