First time mom struggle! Anyone else struggling on how/what to feed their babies for solids? He’s done fine on the purées we have started with but I just feel stuck on how quick/what to move on to! 😩

we moved to big solids like cucumber cut in half lengthwise, a bagel, etc.

He can eat basically little pieces if what you eat. I will typically mash green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, and little pieces of bread from my sandwich. I even gave my son some chicken I mashed up with my fork. Don't be afraid to let him explore food from your plate🙂❤️

I bought the solid starts 100 first foods plan and it has been so helpful to just spell out what’s safe and where to start plus work on exposing him to allergens early. It was $50 but totallly worth it so far. They also have some free content on their website and Instagram and an app.

I don’t think I want to give my baby solids yet. My girl doesn’t have any teeth. So I’m waiting a little bit.
I hear you! It’s overwhelming trying to figure out what’s right / wrong. So far I’ve just done purées and he has done well with the foods I’ve tried so far (apples, mangos, bananas, and pears)

Right now I have tried purées. I’m just where you are I guess. Stuck on not knowing when to start on solid solid food. She has liked the fruit purées I have given her. Also the chicken and veggie purée I have given her. She didn’t love love most of the veggie purées I gave her, but I kept trying and she would warm up to each flavor.

Same. She eats purées but I haven’t given her anything else. She’s 6.5 months. Sometimes I feel like guilty that I’m not doing more. Not sure
ugh same!

You should message me! We can talk it out maybe? Cause I’m still feeling the same way!
