2nd birthday

Sorry in advance if I stress anyone out talking about this but has anyone made plans for baby’s 2nd birthday yet? I’m thinking another party but want little one christened so was going to get her christened then have a joint christening/birthday party. I don’t think peppa pig world etc is any use for us at the moment she’s such a small baby she probably wouldn’t be able to go on any rides still. Also any presents you plan on getting?

We did peppa pig world (even though we don’t watch it) for her first and she loved it as a lot of the rides are family based so anyone can go on and her birthday is October so lots of interactive Halloween stuff aswell. Party wise this year we have booked a soft play with two of our friend to spread the cost to make it a lot easier with each of us on a job eg food, decorations and party bags x

I’m looking at taking my little girl to peppa pig world soon as I’m sure they can go on all the rides apart from 1 or two and use the rest of Paultons park that have a few rides for little ones x

I’ve been starting to think about this too. Think we are going to do another party just at a small venue, hire some entertainment then all family and friends invited. Then thinking we will take her to a petting farm or peppa pig world too.

As for presents so far we have just thought of a baby doll and pram set so far as she’s beginning to love them x

We done that for my lo 1st bday a christening and bday party joint :) im the same think for his 2nd bday gunna rent our local church hall where we go baby group as its £40 for the hall and toys so more a play party and just some little food and a cake just to tire them out lol xx

can I ask how it works with choosing god parents please? My partners friends as lovely as they are probably are not suitable for us to choose as god parents I have 3 friends myself & partner would love to choose and possibly my brother. Do you know if we can choose family and if we can choose anyone or if myself and partner both need to choose people?x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Baby Movements

Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.

I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.

So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.

Anyone getting a private scan at exactly 6weeks

I just wanna know my baby is actually there after losing my first at 5w

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
