I’ve given my 6 month old chocolate at Easter and he occasionally has a bit of my biscuits when he wants a bit. You’re not going to be a bad mum for giving him a biscuit! It’s your baby and if you want to give him something go for it he’ll definitely enjoy it 😋
Thank you :( it’s just coz my ex fam was like no how could you give him chocolate at 6 month old xx

Bit ironic in my opinion because I bet half of them would’ve given their babies chocolate! Especially the older generation! Honestly you do you, a bit of chocolate now and again isn’t going to do him harm ☺️
Well that’s what I said ahha xx

I wouldn't do it every day but maybe you can find something that feels like a treat for baby. Mine is obsessed with blueberries and raspberries at the moment!

It's up to you what you feel comfortable with but personally I'd wait as chocolate contains some caffeine as well as lots of sugar. Might make baby a bit wired! Like Caroline says could you give baby something that seems similar like those flavoured mini rice cakes or a rusk? Or give them their breakfast earlier?

Why would you give a child chocolate biscuits everyday before breakfast? Also your baby doesn't know what a 'treat' is . To them it may be a banana. Babies taste buds are not developed like ours so giving things high in salt and sugar regularly is setting them up for bad habits. I definitely wouldn't be giving them chocolate. If you want to give baby a biscuit you can buy ones appropriate for them or make some that are sugar free whilst still so little.
Ok so it’s not every day !!! Also he loves any fruit and he has fruit all day ! It’s the quarter. Of a chocolate digestive that he barley eats coz 99% of the food he is given ends up in dogs belly coz it’s gets thrown on the floor

why would you come on someone’s post and be so judgemental? She never said she does it everyday! I tell you what my baby sharp knows that what I’m eating isn’t what I’ve given him if I do so!! There’s absolutely no need to be like this. Take a look at the way we have been weaned the stuff we would’ve had! That’s never set me up for ‘bad habits’… let people do what they want with their babies. She’s not harming him by giving him a bit of a biscuit he’s most likely will suck on for a bit and it’ll end up on the floor! I HATE when people are asking for advice and people like you comment and try and make them feel like shit!!! What you said could’ve been said in a better way because how you said it came across so judgemental and arsey.

I wouldn’t even acknowledge that comment tbh!!! It was so unneeded and you won’t be setting your boy up for ‘bad habits’ because he has a little bit of chocolate/biscuits occasionally
thanks hunni I really appreciate this xx
He deff knows when it’s not the same thing x

Agreed, occasionally is a different matter but that wasn't what was stated. I will bite my tongue and leave you to your supportive advice to continue giving both your children chocolate biscuits in morning
really is no need to be rude !!! My sone has 1 chocolate biscuit !!!! With his tea in the morning he is 4 he will then have fruit and cereal next time I won’t bother !!! It’s one time every few days !
