Is anyone else taking Pregnacare Max and it made nausea worse?!

I’d been taking the pre-conception ones which were fine. I ordered the pregnacare max ones when I found out I was pregnant and took them for the first time today.

Literally an hour later and my nausea has gone from basically non-existent to horrendous!!!

Has anyone else found this?! 🤢

Hey! I haven’t found this to be the case, but I have heard this before. When people fall pregnant and are taking their medications it does cause them to be feel unwell. I wouldn’t be alarmed, I would monitor and then speak to midwife xx

I got prescribed folic acid and I feel fine up until I have them then I feel so nauseous and 9/10 will be sick

I’ve been taking Pregnacare Max but haven’t had any side effects like that. Maybe it’s just morning sickness and not connected with the vitamins? I wouldn’t worry but maybe try to speak to a nurse just to understand if this could be connected

I took pregnacare max in my first pregnancy and it made my nausea so much worse. I stopped taking it and changed to another and I felt so much better.

This time around I’m taking them again but nausea has hit so I’m hoping if I change then it will stop.

I’ve been taking their breastfeeding vitamins for 15 months with no problems

yeah it’s so weird! I’ve been taking their pre conception ones for a year throughout my IVF journey and I’ve been fine and now within an hour of taking the pregnacare max ones - nausea 🥴

I found this in my first pregnancy. So I took seven seas instead and it seemed to be better. Zero symptoms from it

great idea! It was like a wave of nausea and it did pass so maybe before sleep will help

I find they're always better on a full stomach, they do say to take with your main meal and maybe try that if you haven't yet x

C-section information

How long were you in hospital for after your first C-section? I am having my first C-section next week and would be grateful of any advice or information. Thanks

Birth options

Hello! I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am finally able to start thinking about my birth now! I am so 50/50 between natural and c-section.

I would love to hear your thoughts!

What type of birth did you have Andrew you happy you chose it?

Or what type of birth are you looking to have?

Thank you so much Xxx

Royal London Hospital maternity Triage

Has anyone had any experience at the RLH maternity triage (6th floor) and if so, what was your experience like?

On two occassions I have been there regarding concerns with my health during this pregnancy and have had an unpleasent experience from the staff on the front desk, seems to be always one in particular where they have been dismissive with the sort of attitude like "why are you here" "we can't help you with that here" It's made me anxious about having to ever go there again, if need be. 🫤
