My LB will be starting nursery in September and will be entitled to the 15 hours a week but with it being needed all year it works out at 11 hours a week.
He’ll be going 3 mornings a week which cost £37. Does anybody know how I work out how much I’ll actually being paying a month once the funded hours have been taken away?
I’m stressing trying to budget already.
Thanks! 🙂

I don't think from what I've worked out your actually get the funding until the January!

@Colette Nov babies are 9 months from Aug 24 and therefore entitled to 15 hours free from September.
Babies who are 9 months between Sep to Dec will receive the 15 hours free from the next term date:- Jan

I think you are best contacting the nursery and asking. My son was 3 in April so qualified for the 2 year funding (otherwise we had to wait until September for 3 year funding). I don't pay anything for his preschool but friends of mine ended up saving hardly anything because their nurseries took off the hours but then added on extra fees. One friend dropped a day, got the funding and only saved £28 a week. Your nursery will be best to tell you what the costs will be
