I’m fairly certain my 5 week old has this - it’s so horrible to watch. However, the odd thing is that it only seems to appear at night? In the day he doesn’t seem to struggle going to to the toilet.
Past nights we have dealt with one showing of it then he’s been fine sleeping. Not tonight, he just cannot settle in his crib due to it. I’ve tried everything. He is fine when I get him out of his crib and feed him. He falls asleep at the breast but when I move him the cycle starts again 😭 is anyone else dealing with this?
(Co sleeping not an option our mattress is too soft and a suffocation risk)
TIA x

My 6 week old is the same. It’s made sleeping difficult for us. I don’t know what to do either and been happening since birth! It has gotten a bit better in the last week though. Sorry to not give any advice but wanted to share solidarity x

no I appreciate that! My baby’s gotten really bad this past week :( he’s finally gone to the toilet (5am 🥲) but I’ve not had any sleep all night! It seems like I just have to ride it out 😭

Sounds a bit like he has has / reflux
You could try a reflux incline.nsometimes slightly raising the head of their bed is enough to help
Most next to me cribs have an option to set up for reflux I think

would make sense as remember when I had it it was worse at night. I will mention it to our health visitor, just feel like there’s no proper remedies :(
