I’m worried my 7 month old isn’t drinking as much milk since starting solids. I know that’s the whole point but I thought she would still be drinking her usual milk. She usually spends 20 minutes nursing in the evening before bed and she was done after 5… is it possible she is eating too many solids? Is that even a concern? Do some babies just wean really fast?😅 is anyone else experiencing this?

I had something similar with my first. Once he was on real meals (not just fruit and veg!) he wasn't so interested in milk. I just made sure he was getting a variety of foods and would use formula instead of regular milk.
My second wants it all!

My 7 month old is the same- will only take 2oz at a time at the moment whereas usually she’d take 8oz! It’s stressing me out xx

You need to decrease solids until you get back to your normal feeding amount. Baby gets everything they need from formula that is their main source of nutrients so if they have dropped feeds because of solids you need to decrease solids x

I had this with my little girl for a week or so and I was really worried but she’s picked up a bit again now. It might just be a phase. I’m just keeping an eye on her weight to make sure she doesn’t lose any but other than that I’m just going off of what she wants. On the box of formula we use it does say 7-12 months 3 bottles in 24 hours so maybe she’s trying to drop a feed? My little girl has dropped a feed and is now having 4 bottles. I think she will drop to 3 within the next month or two as she loves food.
