Breathing heavy

Hi! I was wondering does anyone has any problems with breathing during pregnancy? I am 19weeks today and when I lay on my back for very short time or sometimes even on a side I feel like I need to get up to breath normally. It feels like I can’t get enough air or if something is stuck in the throat.

About 19 to 20w your lungs start to get crowded from baby and uterus, being short of breath is normal, but I'm not certain if it's normal to present like that, honestly

it is strange. I would understand if I am doing any kind of activity at the time, but this happens all while I am laying down.. I will need to check with doctor but my appointment is on 29th

I run out of breath almost instantly no matter what I'm doing .. I just slow deep breaths to get on a normal rhythm

Yes I get out of breath at physical or even mental exertion. Super embarrassing because I’m not even showing yet

For me it’s acid reflux. It’s not something I dealt with before but my allergy doctor said that shortness of breath after eating is acid reflux. I take antacid and sit upright for awhile to correct the issue.

At the same time, I also started getting GERDs for the first time. certain foods trigger it. That makes it hard to breath as well.

When it comes to indigestion, my OB said it’s normal during pregnancy as things are pushed up, I just need to eat smaller meals and avoid eating a couple hrs before bed.

I also have allergy induced asthma so the first time breathing issues happened, I was worried but antacid fixed it. Turns out it’s just food and food management. And I workout regularly and do not have an issues breathing with cardio. Just with food.

I once heard that pregnant women are supposed to lay on the left side for better blood circulation. Not necessarily if everything is alright when laying in other positions but since you’re having these difficulties I wonder if it could help you maybe.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Baby Movements

Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.

I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.

So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
