How to find time for myself

I am 20 with a 4mo and I have no time to myself all I do all day everyday is lay in bed and take care of my son. I sometimes get time to myself with my mil (who we live with) takes him for maybe an hour and I use that time to either clean myself clean bottles clean my room or clean dishes. When I put him down for a nap if he’s not right next to me he doesn’t sleep for long 30-40 minutes max. My bd works 6 days a week 8-4 and then goes to school Monday-Thursday 6-10 so Sunday is his only day off and wants to relax himself. I miss making myself feel pretty by doing my make up and hair I miss playing games with my boyfriend I miss being able to draw or bake I have had multiple break downs about this and I don’t know what to do

Don’t feel bad it happens to all of us . Ur baby is so little just focus on u and the baby for the first year nothing else . It gets easier around 8 months ur almost there. This is normal . Don’t worry so much about cook or clean if u physically cant at least for the first year . I suggest getting out of ur pjs and doing self care w.e that is for u (make up etc) at least twice a week. Watch how that brings u so much energy more than coffee. And from there u go

It feels never ending at the moment but it does get better! Once your little one sleeps through the night and has a set routine for example 7pm-7am (every baby is different but just for example) then you’ll get some of your evening back and can take some time out for yourself, it’s not too far away it does get better just hang in there! My LO is 5 months and I bring the bouncy chair to the bathroom to get ready, bring it to the kitchen and let her watch me bake. It's an adjustments and definitely hard at times, things take a bit longer to do but it's important to do the stuff that makes you happy! You got this momma. 💜

Girl I am in the EXACT same situation. I’ve honestly just come to terms with the fact that I won’t have time for myself right now but it will get better

What helped me when my baby was in the smaller months was “schedule the baby around you, don’t schedule yourself around the baby” and as crazy as this sounds, it actually works when their still small. If you want to draw, put your baby down for tummy time/crawling time and draw. If you’re starting to feel down and want to do something, put baby in the stroller and go outside for a hot mom walk. It’s easier said than done I know. But when the deep thoughts start getting to you, it’s easy to feel depressed. Get fresh air. Do what you love, just find a balance and remember to be practical. Life gets easier when baby boy is older. For now, enjoy him, take so many pictures of him, and yourself, because 5 months from now you’ll see you both and remember exactly what you were feeling in “that” moment 🩷 be kind to yourself doll ✨

5 month old activities

Hey everyone my baby is 5 months old and I want to reduce/cut screen time as I have read up on how bad it is what activities did people do to keep their baby entertained. Thank you in advance.

My friend is over from another country but I don't feel like leaving the house

One of my old friend's is visiting where I currently live and we agreed to meet up today but I feel so tired and exhausted from everything that's been going on with me. I feel if I meet her I'm going to end up having another breakdown from the exhaustion which I have been having often. I'm just thinking about how I need to rest to be able to deal with my toddler and go back to work on Monday without feeling like I need another weekend. I'm torn on what to do so I need you guys to help me decide

Post partum dad

I have a 2 month old. A few weeks ago my husband crashed out because he didn't feel like he was getting to bond with her. I started exclusively breastfeeding around that time and honestly didnt see the big deal. Baby and I left for a few days and when we got back home, everything was fine. He was extremely hands-on. He helped with my meals, her bedtime, bath, stories.....for a few weeks it was great. Then he randomly sounds depressed af. He says our lo is better off without him, he wants to sleep all day , he asks me not to watch tv then tried playing a video game. He refused to reply to me when i asked any follow-up questions. Then he woke up our baby trying to race me to the bathroom first thing in the morning . He's doing a weird mix of crying, trying, and giving up. Im starting to feel like I cant handle him not being able to handle life with baby and just want to be alone. Are there resources for men?

Weaning

Hello mamas, could I get some advice please with how and what to wean as started this week with my baby but not really what to give and when what time day. Have started with puree vegetables and making them myself and offering it in the evening to my baby but she tends to get irritated and tired and has a few spoonfulls and then gives up and has a meltdown. So I’m questioning myself am I feeding her wrong time of day and what’s best to mix the food with milk or baby rice please.

Do I need to pay anything when my child starts school in September

I'm a new mum and obviously didn't grow up in the uk. I currently pay roughly £640 for nursery fees. I'm wondering if my expenses will reduce when my LO starts school or there'll be other expenses (besides bags, uniform etc) will my expenses be anywhere close to £600 monthly?
