What are your bedtime routines? Feel like my LO gets *stressed* in the bath sometimes (maybe i’m doing it wrong) so don’t think she’d love it nightly. Right now i lotion, read a book, bottle (working on moving this earlier) and sing a song before bed but feel like those in total take 10 mins.. how do you engage with your LO to make them know its bedtime?

Hi! I get my 3 month old into her onesie just around bedtime then bounce lightly on the yoga ball while holding her and singing. The motion must remind her of being in the womb when I would walk around. It puts her to sleep so quick if she’s already tired/at the end of her wake window.

I used to think my lo hated bathes (turns out I just couldn’t get the temp just right) he likes it a tad warmer than normal, I feed if it’s time, bathe, lotion/ baby massage and talk to him about his day, then we’ll cuddle until he falls asleep. He used to go to sleep around 1130 but slowly he started going down a little earlier. Now he’s ready for bed around 9 whether he’s had his bath or not 😅

Lots of sleep coaches starting with the bottle as part of the night routine then bath etc. maybe LO will be in a better mood for bath if their belly is full?

I bathe my baby once a week. Usually we wipe neck area, lotion, owlet, sleep sack, night time meds, maybe a bottle if it’s time (burp after if so), sing songs and rock to sleep. I always do it the same even at my parents. She only wears the owlet and sleep sack at night. Is out of it as soon as she wakes up right now only thing different is nose suctioning and breathing treatment. I ended up bringing Covid home from work so she’s getting over that

We do a bath just about every night. My LO like the water a little bit warmer and we play with him then, just talking to him and have started incorporating some toys to engage him a little more. He gets a feed before his bath or after just depends on when his last feed was. Then we do jammies and lotion/massage and start reading books. He will usually tell us when he’s ready for bed while reading lol. Will go from happy and babbling to crying 😅 so we sing and get some cuddles in before putting him down. We’ve consistently done this routine since he was probably 6 or 7 weeks old, he’s 3.5 months now. Whole routine including the feed takes about 45 minutes.
