My LO tends to go down pretty well at night and will sleep for around 6hrs initially. He will then wake up for a bottle around 3am but then will only go back down for 2hrs max. Does anyone have any advice as to how we get him to sleep in slightly longer in the mornings?
For reference we try to put him down around 8.30pm. He wakes around 3am for his bottle and then goes back down until around 5.30am. He naps for around 3.5-4.5hrs a day over 4-5 naps and is 16 weeks old

Following. My boy is the same 🩵

Wow that’s great sleep for 16 weeks old!! You could always push his bedtime back by 30 mins or reduce his day sleep by 30 mins - hour to see if that helps. Sometimes early wakes are just developmental

We had exactly the same for a while. She just grew out of it so I don’t have any advice other than to say it happened to us too. 2 hours on the dot after she was fed. I can’t remember how long it lasted for but she did eventually stop doing it

Are you using blackout blinds? We follow a similar routine to yours but my LB will wake up at 8/8.30 , he won’t fully open his eyes until he sees some sunlight
we have a Tommee Tippee blackout blind which covers a good chunk of our window but maybe I need to get another one to make sure the whole window is covered

Yes definitely! We have Velcro black out blinds from Amazon which are so easy to use and cheap too. But on top of that we have black out curtains which makes it completely dark
