I know some people say they’re not meant to nap in the bouncer but my little one (4months) will literally sleep for 30mins-1hr in the baby bjorn this will of course be supervised and her head is always tilted back not slumped forward.
I was wondering if people say not to let them sleep in it is because of the risk of their head coming forwards and restricting airways or because of their spinal development?

According to experts, babies should not be left in a bouncer for more than 20 minutes at a time. This is due to the fact that extended periods in a semi-upright position can contribute to a condition called positional plagiocephaly, or flat head syndrome.
The AAP specifically warns against using sitting devices for routine sleep, noting that infants who are younger than 4 months are particularly at risk for airway obstruction or suffocation. If your infant falls asleep in a sitting device, they should be moved to a crib or another safe sleeping alternative. And to avoid an infant falling asleep in a baby bouncer in the first place, parents should always supervise their baby when they’re in a bouncer. Leaving a baby unattended while in a bouncer is dangerous.

My little girl will nap longer in her recliner swing and has no problems. Don’t worry what others say as long as baby is safe, comfortable and you are watching I don’t see the problem
