Getting ready to crawl

Mine is doing the same damn thing. He keeps waking up in his crib and flipping over and is up in crawling position crying 😅. He did it earlier on the couch and fell off and bonked his head 🥺

cosleeping with my girl means I get zero sleep when she does this. We went down for the first stretch 6 hours ago and she’s woken to comfort nurse only thankfully. Ow I’m the one awake lol. My girl is passed out currently and still has 3 more hours of sleep before it’s wake up time. She really just wants to practice the crawling though and nothing else right before bed now 😭

Yeah it’s brutal haha, I get paranoid he’ll smother himself getting into awkward positions so I’m up all night checking him and feeding him too lol I feel your pain 😂

I just wish she would stop screaming from the frustration of not crawling. She wants to. She’s half able to. She just can’t go across the room lol

I know! Same! He gets so frustrated! My sister is a pediatric PT, she said to start sitting behind them through the day and push one knee in position and move the opposite arm to simulate the proper crawling stance and help them work on it and they’ll get it better and better and stop the screaming

I’ll give that a try! Currently when she has help keeping her arms in position she actually just brings herself into a groggy position and can get onto her knees from there. She rocks back and forth VIOLENTLY 😂

how we doing? It’s 2:50 AM and I was woken up to mine doing the rocking thing crying because he’s bumping his head on the crib and frustrated lol

we made it through the night without a wake up from rocking back and forth lol b it she refuses to nap today🥲

9:04pm here and she’s had maybe 90 minutes of sleep since she got up at 8 am today. No idea how tonight will go now😳👀

considering she got one step crawling today without a face plant I’d say I’m in for it for a full sleep regression the next few weeks until she figures this out😐😭
