I posted earlier about another issue but it’s just all dwelling on me and I feel so frustrated!
I work full time & pay ALL of the bills myself. My partner only pays for food shopping and luxuries such as if we go on a day out with the kids. Over half of my monthly wages goes just on the rent, I have tried to talk to him about this even written everything out on paper and he hasn’t acknowledged it.
I want to move out of the apartment we are in, as it’s not a great place to raise our kids and there will be better options, he won’t discuss this with me. He has all these plans for the future and goals but he doesn’t discuss them with me ever. I try to have serious conversations with him and I get nowhere.
I don’t have any freedom, I stay home and work and raise our kids everyday. I want to go to the gym (like he does) and even this is a problem for him.
We don’t go on holidays, the most we do is take our kids on days out in the same city during school breaks.
I honestly am having a day where I feel so trapped that I don’t know what my next step in life is or my next goal etc

Why are you paying all the bills? And he has the luxury of not?
I don’t really have a choice. Any time I try to approach the subject I don’t get an answer. Last time I had to keep nagging for us to discuss it and he basically told me to book in a time with him to talk about it, which should’ve been the next day but that didn’t happen. I wrote down all of the bills and showed him, I have had them pinned to the fridge for him to see everyday for weeks and he still hasn’t spoken to me about it. Pay day comes and I just have to pay the bills because I have specific bills and direct debits so I don’t have the luxury to not pay unlike him

If you can’t depend on him to help pay the bills I’d leave. Financial security in a relationship is a HUGE cause for divorce

Also consider what position you’d be in if he were to leave. You pay most of the bills, you spend more time with the kids, don’t get enough time for yourself and he’s living a completely different life. Financially he should have more money since he doesn’t pay the damn bills. I would just start working on plan B
