I started pumping at 38 weeks with my first and I feel like I collected WAY more colostrum than I am with my second pregnancy. I am now 38w4d and I only get maybe 1-2ml which seems like nothing.
I’ve only done 1 10 minute session every other day for now. I’ll probably pick up every day starting this week.
I’ll note that I had an oversupply and incredibly fast letdown with my first so I’m just hoping to get back there.

I’m 38 weeks today. I’ve been pumping the last two weeks. (Started early because I was suppose to get induced) I started getting 1ml at first and that was pumping once a day and now I’m getting 9ml and that’s twice a day.
Don’t give up, Stay positive momma 🩷

I’m 39 weeks and collecting 1,5-2ml/breast in a 30 min timeframe xx

39 weeks today. Haven't collected anything. My doc told me not to when I asked at week 34 if I should start at week 38.

it's safe to start collecting at 38 weeks.

Ftm and was pleasantly surprised with the amount I was getting, my first time I had 18 mls, 2nd time was 19 mls and now I get about 2 oz every night (38 weeks, looking at a possible induction)
that’s great! Though as a first time mom, be wary of mastitis. It looks like you’re going to have an oversupply and given how much you’re already getting (not sure how long you’re pumping for), mastitis will very likely be in your future as you and your baby adjust to nursing.
Update: now 39w2d and getting 6ml per 15 minute session. I only do one per day.
