I know a lot of people are probably in the same boat but I am finding it so tough at the minute, I guess being with the baby basically 24/7 and the lack of sleep. I am breastfeeding, baby refuses bottle, my partner has an injury so he can't do a lot at the minute so it means we can't really go out and do things at the weekends, he can't bath her or attempt to get her to sleep. I'm up with her 3-6 times in the night. If I want him to do anything I have to ask, he will do it but just frustrating, he does do us dinner and stuff which is helpful. I'm so tired I go to bed 7/8pm most nights. I feel like I'm all over the place, the house feels dirty and messy there's always so much to do but the day just goes, it just gets on top of me. I have a wedding to organise and lose weight for it's stressing me out. I get out a lot, I walk our dog, meet other mums and friends, go to sensory classes etc. I'm not sure if I'm doing things right with the baby as routine is all over the place i just don't know what I'm doing sometimes. I said a baby would really make me happy as it's what I've always wanted and I am happy but just being drained and stressed all the time doesn't make me happy if that makes sense. Feel like there's a lot on my mind. Now gotta start thinking about weaning and organising all of that into the day. And how has it almost been 6 months since we all gave birth!!? Half a year!!

I feel the 6 month thing it's gone by so quick and yes it can be tough and stressful and some days I don't know what I'm doing luckily my little girl is starting to sleep through the night or wakes up once in the night. I'm sure your doing the right thing just sounds like your over loading yourself trying to fit everything they say to do in plus more and I'm sure your doing an amazing job of being a mum it's the best thing being a mum but it's also exhausting, hard work stressful and very busy and unpredictable but it's all worth it in the end.

Sorry to hear your finding it hard I am here if you want to talk my inbox is always open x

Same here us mums need to support each other support each other through this journey we are on

It's so hard isn't it? I have good days and bad days. My baby is the happiest thing that's ever happened to me but that doesn't mean it isn't hard/exhausting/just generally a lot. Also happy for you to message if it would help! X

Same here, I am really struggling

I’m struggling too and I don’t think enough people admit it. I used to have a very tidy house, see my friends, go to the gym four times a week and now I have none of those things and I’m finding it really hard to adjust to. I’m trying to learn to live amongst the chaos but it is really hard! I don’t think people are honest enough about how much they struggle! I could have written your message myself. If your baby is fed, warm and loved you’re already doing an amazing job 🩷

I’m also trying to organise a wedding amongst everything else so if you want a friend feel free to message! x

It is so hard, so don’t be so hard on yourself angel! I became single days after my little girl was born and I’ve really struggled and struggling with the nights and constant wake ups, especially doing it alone. I just keep thinking it won’t be like this forever and your doing an amazing job ☺️
