Do you still breastfeed?

Yep! I’m trying so hard to wean before she’s 2. So far we have successfully stopped during the day- but during the night has proven to be harder. I’m unsure how to stop it through the night 🥲

I was breastfeeding up until 18 months. I dropped feeds until we got to 1 a day which happened naturally over time as she was eating food. She still asked for it but I would redirect her to food. It’s been 4 months and when she’s tired she sometimes still asks for it

I weaned my LB at 16m. I went cold turkey, found it to be less confusing. He was certainly eating and drinking enough. Some little things that helped me: offering water or food if he wanted boob, if he refused either of those then redirection to something to do, tight tops to avoid pulling down my shirts, I found changing the bedtime routine around a little bit also helped - milk, shower/teeth, massage, PJs and we’d snuggle and read a book, I’d leave him with some lullabies. It only took a few nights and then he was actually sleeping through for the first time, we’d have no fuss at bed time.
