Do you let them play around with the sofa etc like crashing into it, pulling up onto it, bouncing, standing, jumping etc?

Non-hideous Living room couches: crawling, standing, pulling up, pulling off cushions to make a fort- all allowed.
JUMPING is a no and reserved for the only the large ugly couch in the family room, which was pre-owned and free on FB marketplace.

No jumping on the sofa it’s not safe they all stand on it and I try to get them out of that also again for safety reasons

We create a living environment that allows for all toddlers behaviors to occur safely. We got a beanbag for my son to use as a crash pad, we have an indoor trampoline, we have multiple sit & bounce type toys
My son doesn’t act the same way he does in his actual home when we go visit grandma’s house, (or anywhere) 🤷♀️

My rule is ill warn you, save your ass once, then youre on your own and natural consequences can teach you 🤷🏻♀️ (within reason of course)

No jumping but anything else is fair game

They can jump all they want on the floor we have a bounce house also but only open it when it’s warm out in the backyard we have a trampoline also but I Also think that That too isn’t safe as the one that I have though it’s said to be for toddlers doesn’t have a net surrounding it & I don’t have issues with pulling up on the sofa or crashing into it because we have two sofas a formal sofa for the living room that they don’t have regular access to & then there’s one in our family room that they have sent through the wringer 🫠

She has a sofa she can jump on and roll around in. She is not allowed to jump on the family couch. She is not allowed to jump on the bed. We have an indoor trampoline that she jump on aswell. We have a climbing structure inside her room that she can climb up and down on.

Yes, in a controlled way! She’s almost 4 so has a bit more sense of doing things safely.
This is her home too and she can eat, roll, jump on the sofas etc.

If it’s not safe, stop. 😂 But it’s also not realistic to expect her to not climb on things, so I coach her on how to pay attention to what she’s doing to prevent injury. Seems to be working. 🤷🏻♀️ We also differentiate between what are appropriate environments to climb on things and which are not.

No jumping, running on or standing on furniture

No we absolutely did not. Couches are for sitting on.
