Hello!
Wondering what babies wake window is between their last nap and bedtime. My little boy is almost 9 months and hasn’t slept well at night since hitting 4 months (up every 45-60 mins for at least 5 mins at a time). His naps however have always been consistent. He’s currently on two one hour naps. I’m finding the last few days he’s really fighting bed time and is up for 5-6 hours since waking up from his last nap and then he’s waking up every 30 mins for at least three times. After that he’s back to waking every 60 mins. I try and put him down around 4ish hours after his last nap but I’m not sure if I should try earlier or just give up trying around 4 hours and just start bedtime routine closer to 5 hours. Sorry this is such a long post. Any insight would be really appreciated… I’m just so tired and feel like I’ve tried everything to get him to sleep through the night.

Today, it was a 4.5 hour wake window before bed as she woke from her 2nd nap early, and I really try not to put her to bed any earlier than 6pm. Although there was 1 day this week that she had a 6 hour wake window before bed.

Normally 4ish hours

Normally around the 3hr mark

4 - 4 1/2 hours.

Normally cap the last nap at 1530 for a 7-730 bedtime depending on total nap sleep any longer and he’s over tired and false starts and doesn’t go to sleep independently if over tired we were 9
Month the other day!
Thanks ladies. He usually finishes his second nap around 2.30-3pm. Been trying four hour gap last couple of nights and it’s been the same with the false starts. Thinking maybe just to leave him until 5 hours and see. He’s probably getting more tired from crying when we try put him down around the 4 hour mark. Just wish it wasn’t so difficult for him to sleep through. He’s so good with his day time naps
