So my daughter usually sleeps quite well throughout the night. However there some nights where we struggle because she makes weird moaning and groaning sounds, sometimes it sounds like she’s wailing and crying and whining in her sleep. It’s quite different to if she was having a nightmare. She is fed before bed and has regular massages to give her sound sleep. But I honestly don’t know what the issue is, is any parent experiencing this with their little ones.

My lg has been doing this the last week, I assumed it was nightmares. If I go in to settle her she’s normally asleep and very irritated at me if I touch her so I’ve been leaving her and she stops after a couple minutes x

that’s so strange they do this, for me it’s been going on for some months, she sleeps with us in her cot bed, our room is quite cold so we got her a sleep suit which has been amazing! I’ve even tried baby lavender pillow mist to help her sleep. But it’s getting too much now. I’ve read that it could also be development stages. I have her 2 year review coming up soon and will let the health visitor know if there’s anything they can advise on this.

I have wondered if it’s a developmental thing as this last week she has started saying a lot more words!
