This is my first time travelling abroad and on a plane with children (9 month and 2 year old)
I know I can bring food and snacks for them but according to an easyjet customer advisor, food for infant counts as one of their free item? If this is the case, is that each item or the bag with their food and drinks?
What bag did you use to store their snacks and drinks in?

I think they're entitled to their own piece of hand luggage so we take our baby's nappy bag, which is a backpack, and everything goes in there. Nappies, wipes, spare clothes, toys and snacks. Recommend not taking nutty things in case there's a passenger with an allergy on board. You're allowed to take any kind of food for babies, even liquid stuff, but they will almost definitely want to test it when you go through security so allow extra time for that. We've taken porridge through before and they wanted to test it. By test I think it's just an extra scan.

Travelled with them last week and they get their own 'small bag' my nappy bag was huge. But they were OK with it.
Snacks and bottles of milk are allowed Through too.
Thank you so much and this is super helpful
Oh wow! I asked about porridge and was told no! Where did you fly from? Did you pack it in a particular like a thermal flask?
Hey just wondered what you put the porridge in? We’re travelling in the next few days so would love to prepare (and buy anything I need) xxx

I used a small tupperware

I've taken it on flights from Heathrow and Gatwick
Thank you😊 we got back yesterday and used a thermal flask
