Nursery have asked the kids to dress up. And my toddler is being potty trained at the mo so clothes than can easily be pulled down like trousers are easier, not onesies.
A lot of costumes are onesies.
Any ideas?

I’m sending my son in Gruffalo pjs and a Gruffalo dressing gown 🤣 (that’s he’s conveniently having for his birthday 4 days prior)

Anything that can be normal clothes but with a prop? Or a t-shirt with a character on from a book? I'll probably put my little one in a Twirlywoo t-shirt....he wears his Andy waistcoat to nursery daily atm though

How are you with a needle and thread? You could always buy a “onesie” and cut it to be pants and top. Then sew elastic into the pants? X

Brown jumper & trousers, add a couple of leaves with green felt & you've got a passable stick man

My boy is going to wear a Paddington T-shirt & he can take his Paddington Teddy in with him. To be honest, I’m not a fan of these dress up days every week it seems! I’m not a fan of dressing up myself so if I can get away with minimal effort while he’s still young I will! Will have to make more of an effort when he’s older!
