When did people move their baby’s bedtime earlier? My little boy is 4 months and goes to bed around 8pm. He has 4 naps per day currently but they are all short! Should I be considering dropping a nap and doing an earlier bedtime? Thank you 🫶🏻

Sounds like a normal bed time! The average most babies sleep over night is 10.5 hours, so no point putting him down earlier unless you want him to wake earlier. Let him drop the nap when he's ready

Also thinks this sounds normal, that's exactly what we're working with at the moment! 😊

thanks!!

thank you!!

I find it so hard to have a routine, some nights he won’t sleep till 9pm! And others he’s ready to sleep at 6:30 / 7 🤷♀️ also find it so hard to get him to nap in the day now! And when he does it’s only cat naps 😂 we were out most of the day today in his pram and he was so sleepy after his bath at 6:30 he went to sleep straight away! Think its just easier to let them tell us when they’re tired haha

definitely with you on the cat napping!! We do have a pretty solid bedtime routine but I just wondered if he should go down earlier if he’s fighting his day time naps! Will just see how the next few weeks go and take it from there - we’re all just out here winging it✌🏼🤣

literally 😂😂 love that we’re all in this together
