We’re planning to go to peppa pig world 2 nights stay and 2 park day tickets -we live in Liverpool. It’s such a long drive so we’re trying to plan what we should do for the best. Planning to drive there after breakfast- stop somewhere for lunch and leg stretch and carry on to Southampton- check in hotel and probably just chill around the area for that day/evening. Theme park for the next two days and leave in the afternoon to somewhere else to stay and explore. We’ve got a few days off work so can stay another night somewhere to make the journey less gruelling.
Just seeing if anybody has been before and has any tips or any suggestions where to stay/go that’s half way between Southampton and Liverpool.

We went last year for my daughters second birthday! We stayed in an air b n b in a village called Downton and drove to peppa pig world. It was right on the edge of the new Forrest. Had lovely pubs near by and spent a day at the park and a couple of days exploring the new Forrest. Was really lovely! Hired bikes and my daughter loved it! Was august and lovely weather! Although we are from London, so a lot closer! But was a lovely long weekend ! Xx

We’ve never done peppa due to the long drive, but when we were little, we’d travel through the night so we slept most it, arrive by morning.

I live locally & there’s lots of good kid friendly places locally- Marwell zoo is super close & there’s lots of nice places to stay and eat around the forest!
