Trouble nursing

Hi, I need some recommendations!

My LO turned 2 months and had his 2 month shots Thursday. The day of shots he was really really sleepy. Friday night screamed for an hour and wouldnt breastfeed, ever since then he still does this and keeps randomly doing this. Very clingy and won’t nap unless I’m laying with him. He’s screaming and crying sometimes and won’t breastfeed. I can usually calm him down with breastfeeding. I don’t understand what’s going on. He’s more like snacking (5 mins of boob maybe less sometimes) and I try and offer boob as such as possible like ever(30-1hr). I’m really worried he’s not eating enough and crying when I’m trying to latch him. I did called the doctor and they said it was possibly from the shots he had and just keep offering. He did sleep maybe 4/5 hours last night and got up to eat like normal. Just any advice?

Hes probably having a reaction from the shots.. I wouldn't give anymore if I was you.

I just experienced the exact same thing. His legs are prolly still sore, especially where he got the dtap. That’s the one that causes reactions, upset stomach, fever ect. I had to just give my son his paci and rock him until he took a nap. Just lots of soothing. I also offered my son breastfeeding and he did not want it. And that usually calms him but it wasn’t calming him at all. He’s just starting to get back to normal today

how long did it take for him normal? It’s been a rough 4 days lol.

Well it’s also been four days for me and he is still a bit fussy. I also did the walking around while feeding thing. My little guy isn’t 100% back to normal but I we’re slowly getting there

he went to bed easier tonight! I didn’t have to walk him around the house!

Should I be concerned or am I overthinking?

My little boy is 15 months old, he’s recently taken his first steps and he says mamma and dadda and baba (he has said these for months) we’ve filled out the paperwork for his 12-14 month review and it looks like he isn’t meeting many of his milestones.

He doesn’t copy actions, point, clap etc. He doesn’t react when being spoken to, or to his name. He actively avoids eye contact.

He was so unresponsive to sound that we just had his hearing tested concerned he was deaf. They found that he could hear so he is just choosing not to react to any noises or sounds.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with their little ones? Should I be raising this with the health visitor and ask to be assessed for neurodivergent issue or a social communication problem like autism?

I don’t want to just slap a label on him, but I do feel that there are real concerns. All opinions welcome!!

Routines?

When did you start to introduce your baby’s routine? Do they just have a night routine or full day routine? Wondering when I should start this e.g naps at the same time everyday.

Any routines you have that work for you, please let me know them with timestamps. my baby is 6 weeks and just wondering when we should start them?

Does anyone else’s baby spit up breastmilk but not formula?

I’m seriously considering seeing a lactation consultant because I don’t understand why he can’t hold down breastmilk but can formula. I use soy formula since I’ve used it with my daughter and I’m thinking it might be due to not getting milk coming in for a few days so I had no choice but to give him formula, but now even if I take breaks in between feeding him breastmilk to burp or try to mix breastmilk and formula, he spits it up sooo much. I’m ready to just give him just formula because I’m worried about him not eating enough

Bed time tips for 8 week old

So I literally cannot get my 8 week down to sleep before 11:30pm every night no matter how early we start our routine. We tend to do bath every second night but every night consists of feed, up to bed, into pjs, book, feed to sleep. We could start this routine at 7 and it would still be the case of not selling til 11:30.

She doesn’t nap during the day well, we get a 30 minute in the morning, and a 1 hour in the afternoon only if I’m out the house. She’s never distressed when she’s awake all that time, quite the thing being nosey and having cuddles. She’s EBF and her feeds all through the day are LONG and last from 30-45 mins each feed.

Any tips/advice recommended on how to get to bed earlier or just how to get her to sleep in general.
