No routine?

Anyone else still handling everything on demand? My baby is almost 7 weeks and we still nap & feed on demand and everyday is so different we for sure have not figured out a routine for each. Curious if anyone else is just going with the flow of baby each day still or if most people are on routines by this point?

We are still trying to establish a sleep routine.. it's so hard as she won't sleep alone and always wants to be held to fall asleep and she's 8weeks. I feel lost 😕

We don’t have a routine yet but I’m working on getting us on one since I’ve got about 4 weeks until I go back to work.

Yep lol no routine over here either. She’ll be 8 weeks on Friday and we’re still doing everything on demand.

I dont have a set schedule but her demands are pretty close in time from day to day. I have created a sleep routine that is typically done around the same time and helps baby unwind and nod off.

Nighttime routine- got it!
The rest of the day, all over the place!

I'm going with the flow. Last night we were up until 3:30am, the night before 4am, the night before baby was sleep by midnight. Lol. I havent even considered a routine and baby is going to be 10 weeks in 3 days.

My baby is kind of falling into a routine by herself she’s a creature of habit but I’m just doing what she wants because I can. I am stay at home mom right now.

I have a routine of when he wakes up to eat lol. I first take him to change his diaper, he nurses, burp and then another diaper change if he poops and back to sleep

Evening time, I change him to pjs (rompers) and lotion him up. I hold him when I read my toddler a story.

Mornings, I change him to a onesie for daytime.

Starting a nighttime routine early on can really help. Just a simple change clothes, diaper, story and prayer if you want.

No routine. We just flow. He eats when he’s hungry and sleeps when he’s tired. But he has been going to bed at night around 9 every day for a few days already. And sleeping around 7 hours straight. He’s 9 weeks old

8 weeks and we handle everything on demand. :) The baby is falling into his own routine of going down for the night around 7-8pm and waking up for the day between 6-8am.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
