How much are yall spending on groceries weekly? Comment (family size, special diets, location etc) if you’d like. For comparison, we are a U.S. family of four spending $4.77 per meal per person per day ($57.21 per day total) on a vegetarian lifestyle so about $400 per week.

$300 for a family of 5.

About $200-$250 a week but that doesn’t include formula 🥲. I’m gluten intolerant but I only eat 2 meals a day usually so I don’t have to get a ton of food for myself. Family of 4 in south Florida.

Family of 4. We spend around $250-300 a week. I have a ton of food allergies. I'm allergic to wheat, soy, quinoa, lentils, rice, spinach, lettuce, salmon, tuna, and all shellfish. So I mainly eat eggs, meat, cheese, and yogurt. Most vegetables are starting to make me sick too. So yeah red meat and chicken get expensive but here we are. I'm trying to make sure my kids have a well rounded diet but mine is definitely limited so we end up buying a lot of meat each week. We live in Arizona.

Around $750 weekly

80-150 for 3 people.

Probably around £80/$100, some weeks more and some less. That's the whole shop so may include household items (i.e today's shop was £80ish but included loo roll and shower gel).
UK, 2 adults (plus my Dad who'll I'll grab bits for too) and a 13mo. 13mo eats lunch and dinner at nursery 4 days a week and partner often buys himself bits for dinner at work 4 days a week that aren't included in our weekly shop. Baby and I are mostly dairy-free due to allergy, but slowly working our way through the milk ladder, and I'm pescatarian so buy alot of vegan products.

Somewhere around $200 a week. Family of 4. We shop at Aldi for most of our food. We buy most of our meat at a local grocery store. We buy meat when it’s on sale and freeze it. So, our bills fluctuate when we are stocking up.

love us some Aldi!! and Lidl but we don’t have one anymore. 😭

I’d say we prolly spend around $175-$250 a week for just my parter and I and baby boy is breastfed. We shop farmers market, Pavillions and sprouts in CA. It’s not cheap here :/

Usually about $150 a week for a family of 3 and that’s really because I try to eat as healthy as I can. So we don’t buy a lot of snacks. We do buy a lot of meat because protein is importance for every meal imo

protein is super important! There are also lots of non meat sources of protein that could also put some dollars back in your pocket-if you wanted to alternate not necessarily eliminate.

ah, I miss the milk days! lol

whew! 😵 lol

this is what our budget is supposed to be lol…but the fruit!

that’s a struggle!

ours fluctuates as well. I also try to buy vegan when I can.

one of our markets is being remodeled 😩 but I did stop by the other today for some local honey. and Sprouts! Look out for those manager specials, we save quite a bit on produce that way. $1 for a big bag of organic broccoli today!

yes! We do a lot of cottage cheese, nuts, eggs etc. but we try to cook a protein for dinner at least every night

$120ish weekly vegetarian family of 3in MA, US. Little isn’t eating solids yet so really only accounts for 2 people

3 160-180

150-200 a week. We don't buy much meat because we hunt, we get a lot of fruit and vegetables at the amish during summer and fall, Winter our food prices go up more. We live in rural PA and family of 5. We don't get many processed foods at all, I buy for meals, not ready-made stuff. We don't buy bread or eggs because I make my own and we have chickens. I do qualify for WIC currently also, so we don't usually buy milk or cheese.

we are about to start making our own bread! Even though that’s not a bulk of our cost, it’s still exciting lol

@ALI it's definitely a hobby of mine. Once I tried homemade, I couldn't stand the taste of the store bought anymore. 🤣 I make my own pancake mix and stuff, too. we usually buy flour and yeast in bulk at a local Amish store.
