I’ve been using the owlet sock since he was 2 months old exactly because of this. My baby is also a tummy sleeper and the sock helps my anxiety A LOT! I just use it for bed time tho, no naps. I wish I didn’t use it at all because of EMF but otherwise I wouldn’t be sleeping at all. To reduce emf we use a no emf sound machine and we don’t use camera monitor, just audio (it was cheaper, too!) I figured we didn’t need it anyway cause I get to see if he’s moving or alert with the sock.
@Beka we’ve never had a false alarm ever!
@Gigi the emf part does bother me alot!! But it’s better than something happening and wishing we had used it.
@Beka totally agree.
^ yes to all this!
I love mine. I’ve never had a false alarm and the other week it alerted me that my daughter’s oxygen was low it was 80 then kept decreasing to 69. It took me some time to wake her but once she woke up her oxygen went back to normal. I think she fell into a deep sleep. 10/10 recommend. I’m sure it saved her life.
I have the owlet dream sock and it’s the best baby item we own. You’ll see a lot of people complain about false alarms and those causing anxiety, but most of those people are/were using the older model owlets. The dream sock does live monitoring too compared to the older models. It brings such a peace of mind, I highly recommend
