sweating

Hello, i have a 3 month old baby girl. She has always been a hot baby. She definitely got her dad’s body heat for sure. It’s always worse at night though, she’s starting to sweat through sleeper and a sleep sack. Both are not heavy material. And it’s still getting her sheet wet. I will add that our house is always 68 degrees and our bedroom has a huge bay window and a sliding glass door so it’s even a little chillier than the rest of the house. Anyone else deal with something similar and find something that makes it better? Thank you in advance!

I would try putting her in a onesie and the sleep sack. Babies can’t control their body temp & if she’s sweating, that’s a sign she has too many layers

@Tobie even during the day, she sweats with wearing a onesie if you’re holding her. Her body heat is intense 😅

We have a very warm baby too. He is usually in very minimal clothing. At night his room is 65-68 degrees. He wears a 1.0 tog sleep sack & a long sleeve onesie with mittens. I knew anything on his legs he'd be too hot. Honestly we probably would do a short sleeve onesie but his hands get freezing at night. He sleeps better when the house is really cool.

This is my baby too. He sweats so much in the car seat as well, today I had him in a loose onesie only and AC on low and his whole back still came out wet 😅 but he also gets chilly really quick too so it’s hard to manage sometimes

@Natasha that’s how my girl is. she’s soaked everytime i take her out of the car seat but she refuses to sleep without a blanket on her in the car. but even if she’s sweating, her hands and feet get cold so easily. it’s so tough 😩

My baby isn’t sweating but shes been feeling very hot! I’m trying to dress her in less tonight and see how it goes, I’m thinking i don’t want to cover her hands bc she’s teething and puts them in her mouth , but her hands always gets cold at night so idk
