Is there a 16 month sleep regression or am I just losing my mind???
My little girl has decided for the past week that sleep is not for her and takes about 2 hours to put down for bed at night time. Her nap is fine during the day and sleeps fine during the night apart from that.

Yes!! My daughter (15months almost 16) is about to start Week 3 of fighting bedtime … 🙄
Naps are fine.
Just fights bedtime by 1-2hours

it’s so hard isn’t it but I’m really glad I’m not the only one literally nothings changed I was so confused xxx

I was literally just thinking why is my 15.5 month old suddenly SO hard to get to sleep as she gets up off her floor bed and goes running off into our room. She wants to be chased and to play and to read books even if she’s had barely any sleep.

yes she’ll be dozing off looking tired and then she’ll start bouncing like where’s this energy coming from ahaha

honestly like it’ll be nearly 9 o’clock and she’s ready to play anything and everything I’m like howwww xx

This was me a few weeks ago, we co sleep so he’d get off the bed and run around, mess with anything he could find, it was infuriating and I’d dread bedtime! I thought he wasn’t getting enough wake time in before bed but I think it’s all developmental tbh, we’ve started having an evening walk without the pram for about 20 minutes and it seems to help most night, some days it still takes 45 minute to an hour but that’s better than the 1.5/2 hours it used to! Hang in there, it will get better!
I say that but he’s only just gone to sleep tonight 🙈

My little boy has been asleep about 5 minutes but it's took almost an hour and a half to get him down. He'll lie down for a few seconds, sit up and start clapping, lies back down again and decides it's time to throw the dummy on the floor, clap some more and babble 🤣 it's exhausting!

Yup, and also been tackling split wakings for 1-2 hours in the night 🙃🙃

So glad I found this post I was genuinely feeling like a failure because I can't get my lo to go to bed at the moment I currently dread bed time.
I'm sorry your all having a rough time but I'm really glad I'm not alone on this issue

My little one has started to realise what bed time is .As soon as I put his bunny" to sleep" and I play the night lullabies he cries inconsolably and wants to escape.
