Whipps Cross Hospital

What have peoples experience been of the hospital, especially care in labour and post natal? Keen to get a view. I’ve heard people speak highly of Homerton but unsure. Please share, thanks!

My closest hospital is whipps cross but decided to have both my kids at homerton because I heard they were good. Do not have many complaints about them other than the parking lol 🫣

I’m under Whipps Cross Hospital personally not been to labour and delivery yet but antenatally I can’t fault them I’ve been under the pre term clinic and they been great, there nicu is great too as my last was transferred back there after being in Cambridge ( I was not going back to harlow ) sorry I can’t be much more help

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Anyone getting a private scan at exactly 6weeks

I just wanna know my baby is actually there after losing my first at 5w

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
