Mine is 29 months and she decides when she wants to self feed or wants me to feed her. It’s normal for us. If it’s normal for you, go ahead and do. Don’t pressure yourself into following all these “BLW” trends and the appearance of perfect family and children feeding themselves. Each child is different, but essentially the same thing the midwives tell you when you first have the baby “fed is best” no matter how that happens.

Still depends on how my boys are feeling that day; whether they will feed themselves or I will, whether they will use cutlery or fingers. For context they are 6 and 3

My boys 15 months and if I don’t feed him most of his dinner he feeds it to the dogs🤦🏼♀️😂

See my son is so picky with foods he won't eat in the morning i give him some fruit and he eats a little of that I'm just worried he's not eating enough
