Should it be this painful?

So I am 3 years post partum I had a forceps delivery, and the last month been getting episodes of severe pain with weeing and wetting myself a lot. Like I can be fine then all of a sudden I can’t wee only drops come out followed by severe pain and i can’t pass a proper amount of urine despite drinking loads and it’s like this urge to constantly push a wee out but nothing comes. Then if i lie down for a few hours I can wee normally again. So I noticed last week on my period that I had a prolapse and the doctor confirmed a grade 2 uterine prolapse from an exam but I had an exam 2 weeks before and they didn’t notice it. I’ve had std tests clear. It basically feels like a urine infection except the samples came back clear from the lab for infection. I’m so upset tonight as I went out for dinner and it came on and I darent have sex. I’ve got an appointment with the incontiance team but got to wait till July but I’ve had to be signed off work because of the pain. Could the prolapse be causing this much pain? The gps are being completely useless an unsympathetic over it I had to literally beg for a vaginal exam off of them so I’m scared to phone them again.

I'm no expert but it sounds like there are more issues with the bladder? I'd definitely want to see pelvic floor physio through NHS but maybe go privately?
It could maybe be that you have overtight bladder and then it just comes out when it's really full
The constant urge to wee may be associated with a prolapse
But like I said I'm not expert
Maybe pop your symptoms into chat gpt and see what it says

I feel there is but no one is listening to me. Even my kidneys hurt when it’s happening it’s like they are being squeezed. But the GP said it probably was all to do with the prolapse. Ive even got air coming out of my urethra but again she said prolapse can cause that. When I try wee it feels as painful as when I was in labour and having to push. Like they aren’t even looking into the possibility of a kidney stone. I mean I’m thinking the fact this prolapse has clearly developed or gotten worse recently is probably from me straining to wee 😩

Definitely try to get seen by a pelvic floor physio if not nhs then privately asap as it can get worse!
The straining to wee will definitely cause the prolapse symptoms on top of everything else. Maybe try to focus on breathing exercises in the meanwhile ? But in all honesty now that you'd said this it does sound like it could be kidney issues because my mum had similar issues from what I had heard!
Also try going every 2/3 hours to the toilet just in case maybe? If the pelvic floor is overtight that could help

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Baby Movements

Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.

I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.

So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
