My bd never put any effort into getting to know his kids. He only likes them if they are laughing and smiling. Let’s be real they are 19 months and 5months . He’ll tell me he can’t help me cuz he’s never been a dad before (my first kids aswell)if I ask for space he’d be the person/dad my kids deserve (for all of 5 seconds) he makes allot of mistakes with simple tasks (he’s human) but he blames me for everything…. He has been go a for about a month and I didn’t realize how much I’ve been blaming myself because of everything he put on me….. I can’t help but stare at my kids when they sleep and cry cuz they deserve better.

Your feelings are valid. No judgment whatsoever. I think if you keep asking for space then you know the answer about how you should handle your situation. You are stronger than you think. YOU GOT THIS GIRL I PROMISE. If you ever want to talk message me .
I’ve never loved anything as much as my kids. It’s been a tough ride accepting my situation and understanding the fact he doesn’t gaf
Thank you❤️

Your kids will grow up and see who was in their corner and who wasn’t at the end of the day . Focus on yourself and your kids that’s the only way to move forward. It’s going to hurt for a little then it won’t

And your welcome you got this

I’m so sorry you’ve had to carry all of that. But please hear this: you are not the problem. He didn’t show up the way a father should, and that’s his failure, not yours. You’ve been holding it down, loving your babies, and doing your best, even while being blamed and let down.
Your kids already have better, they have you. And even when it feels heavy and unfair, you’re showing up every single day, loving them, protecting them, and giving them everything you’ve got. That matters more than anything he’s failed to do.
The fact that you’re sitting there crying while watching your babies sleep just shows how deeply you love them and are trying to give them the love and stability they deserve. That makes you a freaking good mom. They’re lucky to have you. 💛
