I’m ready to relocate. Like what all do you have to have or need leaving one state moving to another what was you guys experience like leaving your hometown and moving into another state with your significant other leaving all your family and friends in the state that she was born and raised in and then moving to another state, not having friends, but boyfriend got a lot of family down there

I moved here from out of state as well. I started with selling everything I didn’t need and just loading up suitcases. Then starting all over with furniture and everything. Secure a job first, you could come and stay in a hotel or air bnb while you house shop. Or try to get one virtually. But landlords typically like to see you have income so make sure you have an offer letter to showing that your hired, your start date, your pay rate and hours. I’m closer to the Huntersville side of Charlotte. I like this area, not much crime and my son’s school is great. Join children’s activities as much as you can to make new mom friends so you’re not just by yourself all the time like I was the first year being here lol. If you need any help or want a mom friend feel free to reach out! It’s been hard not having my village but when I miss them that’s the beauty of FaceTime! I also keep emergency cash for last minute plane tickets if any of my family or friends need me urgently.
