I’m 38 I have a good job and super grateful for it. I have a 2 year old daughter and love spending time with her more than anything. But I’m also a single mom living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to make ends meet. Her dad is not a bad person and willing to watch her when she gets off daycare but he is also very irresponsible. He doesn’t work and just sits around all day watching tv or playing video games. I know I’m on my own basically. I know there are others who have it way worse but I’ve been feeling anxious and depressed about the situation feeling guilty that I won’t have enough for things like birthday parties and after school activities or a nice house with a yard for her. It’s devastating to me she’s such a good kid and deserves better than me. What could I do as a side hustle maybe from home so I could at least be there with her. Any ideas? I’m a hard worker and I’m willing to work but not sure what options are out there aside from things like MLM which is not something I want to get into. I don’t mean to complain but it’s just so hard to save with childcare and medical costs I just now paid off my hospital bill from having her🤦♀️. I just feel stuck can anyone share what worked for them?

I feel this. I’m a single mom of a seven year old and now a 1 month old. I work from during the week so it kinda helps when it comes to spending time with them especially one on one. But I am considering getting a second job and the schedule isn’t so bad but it would take most of my time on weekends and I would have to work on site. So I have to decide to continue struggling with 1 income or sacrifice my family time temporarily to make ends meet.
wishing you the best with your new little one ❤️ I know it’s hard you are not alone. We are doing our very best for our kids.

I’m sorry you’re going through this mama. It also sounds like you’re doing your best and your baby girl is thriving. I would explore any remote job that has flexibility. Maybe customer service , data entry , virtual assistant. I wish you the best. God bless you. This single mom life is hard and I’m in a similar situation but we gotta keep pushing forward and give the rest to God.

Marry for money 😭

I do really really small online things. Receipt scanning games apps etc. Never enough to pay the bills but maybe afford myself a coffee or something once a month🤷🏼♀️
