Just been to hospital for the second time this month panicking about reduced movements… anyone else this anxious? 🥹 I know it’s best to get checked because turns out he’s moved and I can’t feel him as much again but it’s petrifying! Please tell me I’m not alone!

I know exactly how you feel. I'm constantly worried tapping my belly to see if the baby moves. But at least you get checked, it's the right thing to do.

it absolutely is and I would never think anyone else is being dramatic but I absolutely feel like I am! It’s a horrible feeling, being so out of control isn’t it. X

I know how you feel!! I always think like here we go again I'm being silly but as you said we're out of control and the only way we can tell that the baby is okay is by feeling the movements so it's natural to worry when we can't feel them. X

Yess I know how you feel! Was in triage last night for reduced movements. Turns out he is perfectly healthy and moving around but I have an anterior placenta so they suspect he was wiggling behind it.

What if you eat some sugar ? If I do baby moves almost instantly and I feel less worried.
Not sure if that's the best technique 15 kg later lol

yeah I feel you, I’m also a FTM and it took 5 years to get pregnant so I don’t know if that’s adding to it as well but just feel so anxious all the time which isn’t great. But similar situation here actually xx

glad your little bubba is okay 🤍

normally if I have something sweet or cold he moves but he wasn’t. Turns out he’s just further up and changed position so I can’t feel him as much but been monitored and they’re absolutely fine with the results so I’m feeling reassured. They’ve booked me in for a scan on 2nd September

I feel this! I had very reduced movements for a long time and it turned out the baby wasn’t actually moving - I was in the hospital all last weekend and had a scan - everything was fine with baby and the midwives said they thought they (we don’t know sex) were maybe in a ‘sleep cycle’ kicks have resumed now but I’m watching like a hawk! Just wanted to share my experience so you know it can happen and be okay. ALWAYS best to be sure - you aren’t being a burden and some babies do stop moving for longer periods of time but always get that checked! I do also have an anterior placenta so movements are supposedly less easy to feel. I hope everything goes smoothly for you xx

We also have the same due date 🥰

The anxiety is unreal. I can totally relate to this I’ve been twice in the past few weeks. Always better to be checked 💕🥰 xx

awww bless you that must have been SO scary!! I’m so glad your little baby was okay and is okay! They’ve booked us in for a scan too on the 2nd and we’re at a midwife appointment next week which we’ll get to listen to his heartbeat so we’re looking forward to that. I have an anterior placenta too but on my right hand side so I feel you! I hope everything also goes smoothly for you now too and how exciting we have the same due date 🥹🤍 xxx

ah bless you, was everything okay? Xx

I’ve been in to hospital every week for the last 4 weeks due to reduced movement. It’s the scariest thing. I had my 28 midwife appointment and just cried. She reassured me that if there is anything I am worried about to go in. They would rather see us every day if we are worried than something happen to our babies. So that made me feel a bit better. It’s so hard not to over think the movements but I’m now in the mindset to just call and see them rather than over think and worry❤️ we’ve got this! Xx

aww yeah. Everything was fine. Just went onto a monitor for an hour to check. Similar to you, they think he may of just moved so I couldn’t feel him. Xx

yeah it was horrible but so glad everything is okay, so I completely get your anxiety! Yeah that’ll be lovely to hear their heartbeat, always reassuring isn’t it! Ahhh okay! Yeah it can make feeling the kicks a lot harder my midwife said, so they get it even more of you have an anterior placenta as we struggle a little more to feel everything. So it’s completely understandable from all aspects! I know, not long now - this will zoom by and we will be holding them soon ❤️🥰
