We are currently nap training my 10 month old. Shes been sleep trained for nights for a while now but every time I try naps it doesn’t work. We saw a sleep dr about her poor sleep and he said to go a whole week without putting her to sleep. Not at night and not at nap time. So that’s what we are doing, day 1 she would eventually fall asleep but only nap 20 mins but the past 2 days she doesn’t fall asleep ever. I’ll leave her in there for over an hour and she still doesn’t fall asleep. What do i do?? She slept bad last night because she was overtired from virtually no nap time yesterday. The first nap today was a fail and the second one is coming up

West her out before nap time
Take her to the park or just to run out front if you have a yard . Or even something fun inside the house but make sure she’s moving so she can get sleepy.
Feed her , then she should be lights out for nap . At this age she should be taking at least 2 naps a day still for no more than 1.5 hours each . Or one long 3 hours nap
If all else mommy bliss has several natural sleep agents I used to use . And they are Melatonin free
I used mommy bliss sleep agents here and there of if we were having trouble getting him down so no mom guilt here . Once he got the schedule (and he did quickly) I stopped using them .

I’m so sorry that sounds so tough! The only thing I can think to try is a reset. If you put her down and after 20 minutes she’s just not settling go in, get her up for 10/15 minutes then try again. Make sure the routine is similar to bedtime so she knows what to expect, try make the room dark as possible etc. Hope things improve for you!
