Hi girls!
My midwife said the first measurement i had at 28 weeks was incorrect and i was remeasured yesterday at my appointment.
Baby girl is on the 97th percentile! Ik sometimes these can be incorrect but she really had a good feel around and i have a scan on 1st oct to see how she is growing. Is this something to worry about as my son was also a large baby but never went above the 90th 🫣

Mine was supposed to be 97% when born but she was 8lbs 2, but since 1 month old she’s been 95-97% and she’s 8m now in 9-12 and 12-18m clothes 😆😆
I wouldn’t worry too much xx

thats exactly the same as my son! Hes now 18 months in 2-3yrs, i was thinking coz she was a girl that she would be slightly smallerðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
I was hoping to have a natural delivery this time but now im terrified 🫣😅xx

My girl was supposed to come out 9-10lbs and she came 6lbs ahahah she has been 99% in height since birth she is in 24month to 2t clothing because how tall she is but 60% in weight so safe to say they were way off in her measurements! I'm waiting on my next scan to see how big my baby is that I'm pregnant with she definitely feels smaller

My son flit between the 97th and the 99th centile throughout my whole pregnancy. He was born at 8lbs 5 x

Mine never measured above the 50th because they had small femurs which threw off the formula but they were both born at 8lbs 1oz my first at an induction for low movement at term and a spontaneous labor at 38+5. Fundal heights are notoriously inaccurate as each person does them a bit different so unless the same person is doing it the same way every time you will get different results. Scans are +/- 2lbs so you have a 4lbs spread baby could be 6lbs or 10lbs. And again each sonographer measures slightly different even if they all use the same formula so unless you get the same person each time and they take the measurements exactly the same way you will get different results. Honestly unless you have other issues I wouldn’t worry bigger babies are actually easier to birth than smaller ones and as long as you have good breathing control you aren’t any more likely to tear.
