Any suggestions to help with RLS at night? Everything I’ve seen online doesn’t help and I’m running on fumes because it’s stopping me from sleeping😞

Magnesium spray x

I suffered really badly when i was pregnant with restless feet..the only thing that helped.
.id smother my feet with freeze gell and.d have a fan blowing right on my feet x

i have RLS for life 😅 but also suffered in pregnancy. i agree with keeping your legs cold at night. don’t have a duvet on them, just keep them open air and make sure your room is very cool. heat aggravates my symptoms a lot. it’s also worth trying to get up and do squats or calf raises - like 20 or 30 or whatever amount makes your legs burn. it’s the last thing ya wanna do when you’re trying to rest, but i have found tiring muscles out in my legs helps my body stop the RLS. finally, stretching is helpful. downward dog and more traditional leg muscle stretching can feel comforting.

For me, it worked to use magnesium spray and keeping my skin always moisturised. Also drinking enough water throughout the day and in the evening helped. Stretching my feet before bed was also good. I also took additional iron and B12

Only thing that slightly helps me is soaking my feet and ankles in freezing water in the evening and then putting an ice pack on my leg, ankle or feet in bed.
