Growth scans

OK I'm quite worried I'm 34 weeks and just had another growth scan baby is tiny was on 14% centile now only 7th% everything has stopped growing apart from femur length... placenta working fine even though it's bi-lobed I'm worried if baby has has anything wrong genetically or could be any other factors (I do suffer from HG) having weekly placenta scans and 2 weekly growth scans. Anyone similar?

Hey, what was your most recent umbilical artery reading? This is a good measure for fetal wellbeing and placental function. I imagine they will continue to monitor every 1-2 weeks and if needed, baby due date may be brought forward. I totally get how worrying this would be, easier said than done, but try not to panic! You’re nearly at the end and don’t forget, growth scans have a huge margin for error! Unless the consultants have suggested that your baby needs extra help or monitoring - stay positive mama! Good luck 🤞

Have they said why the baby could stop growing?
Has your blood pressure been ok? Any symptoms of pre eclampsia?

How’s your diet been have you been able to uptick your protein intake?

Aw bless you that must be so hard,
Have they got an action plan if the baby continues to stay small? Will they intervene?

My baby is measuring small, and I’ve got growth scans every few weeks which is also giving me anxiety.

I’m not sure if this will help settle your anxiety a little, but my first was measured on the 8th percentile during a growth scan at 39 weeks after a sudden drop in size. She was born 6 days later happy and healthy on the 21st percentile. The measurements can be inaccurate with the scans! I hope you and baby are ok and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
