This might be a weird question! My son is potty trained but it took a while to get him to be able to pull his trousers up and down independently. He’s a skinny minny so any trousers with a drawstring are a no go because we have to tie the string tight which he can’t undo on his own. 2-3y/o size joggers are too loose on his waist and fall down, but any smaller and they aren’t long enough. I’ve been putting him in basically tights every day but I’m worried with them being so thin and it getting colder.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any recommendations?

Yes I have recently encountered this exact problem. He still fits in 12-18m shorts he's that skinny (they look ridiculous like hot pants 😂) Fortunately I'm handy with a sewing machine so decided that the next few weeks of my current mat leave is going to be spent making him some skinny but long joggers because I can't find trousers that are tight enough on him to not fall down (even when the drawstring is tied). So unfortunately no help but I feel your pain
