I’ve had trouble getting her to sit down and eat her meals for a while now at first she hated her high chair so I bought her a table with a chair to see if that would make it any easier. She now has a mouthful of food and will go running around playing with her toys and half the time her food ends up cold or on the floor or she just doesn’t want it at all and will bring her plate and say “bin”.
She will then come over and eat our food wich is mostly the exact same as what she has on our plate. Any tips?

Sit her up at the table in a big chair beside you

We had to get rid of his high chair too and has a little table bench thing or sits at the big table but usually we have the same problem. What I do is just tell him that if he doesn't sit down the dinner goes away and stick to that. He went to bed a couple of times without dinner but he kind of learnt the lesson with the occasional tantrum. Even if he doesn't have the dinner straight away he usually asks for it later and sits down. I try to explain that he can choke when running with food in the mouth and also, I am not going to run around the house chasing him with a spoon 😅 consistency is key even when they get upset. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get there xx
