Fml my son just started eating these a couple days ago

For anyone concerned about the levels of heavy metal and potential harm to your baby, here's a bit of reassurance: they will naturally process and elliminate these compounds. A functioning liver and kidneys is all you really need to detoxify your body, so if you've stopped feeding them, be assured that over time your kid's liver will do it's job and cleanse their system. Livers are amazing in that way.

That lawsuit started like 4 or 5 years ago and it’s not just that brand. It’s a lot of other brands like Gerber, beach nut, earths organic (I think that’s what it’s called). And it’s not just these crackers. It’s all different kinds of baby food. So if you’re gonna stop giving these to your kids, you should probably stop all store-bought baby food in general.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve never bought them but I have considered it

Should also note that from a food science perspective, the reason these things are popping up more is not necessarily because the levels are higher than they were before - we have better and better equipment that can detect smaller and smaller amounts of heavy metal. So where it may not have been detected in the 70s, now we can detect incredibly microscopic amounts - it's not that there is necessarily more, just the instruments we use are much better, and it's more easily detected.

Good to know. People were giving these out on Halloween

Literally just bought these yesterday! Thank you for posting!!!

My daughter loves these! 🥲 does anyone know of any other brands that make crackers like these ????
