Guys I am filled with so much emotion as we wait for the arrival of our second son and I can’t help to feel bitter sweet, like we are extremely excited and can’t wait to meet our new baby but then again I keep thinking about my 2 year old and reminiscing about when he was a baby and looking through our photo memories. Sometimes I even cry I’ve been trying to do a lot with him, but there’s only so much I can do this far into my pregnancy knowing that this is our last few days together am I the only one that feels this way like would I love the baby as much as I love him or will I love the baby more than him I don’t know.

I am so worried about bringing our second son home. I never want my first baby to feel forgotten or left behind. All the what ifs keep me up at night. What if he doesn’t understand mama isn’t ignoring his needs and mama isn’t leaving him. It is something I’m struggling with

I am thinking the same thing. And I hope my son doesn’t feel abandoned. It’s been almost 4 years with just him . I’m so nervous to “love” another child. How do they do it with multiple kids?😩😭

You explained my feelings as well perfectly. I'm feeling this way about my baby girl. Shes 2 years old and all she wants is momma to get uo and dance with her and do other things and I can't makes me sad and then memories pop on my phone when she was just a newborn or just a few months old... and I feel robbed cuz I really wish I could go back and relive it all with her being my newborn again... im excited to meet my little man but all I wanna do is go back in time..

Oh my goodness, I have all the same feelings, mama! I just had my second baby yesterday (she decided she wanted to join us early) and my sweet 2 year old got to meet her in the afternoon. We’re making space for lots of curiosity and encouraging bonding between them, while making sure our first knows that all his big emotions are valid and it’s okay to feel them all. Lots of hugs to you - both your babies will be so loved!!
