EBF SLEEP

Those of you who are EBF only does your little one still wake through the night for feeds or are they sleeping through?
My girl wakes but i think its only to soothe back to sleep so she usually latches and her eyes close instantly not sure if shes taking drinking

We switched to 1 expressed bottle before bed and it gets her throught the night. We now do bed and stories around 6. Final feed on me at 7. She goes to sleep about 8. Wakes up at 9:30. Bottle. Wakes at 8am

My baby is EBF and exactly the same. He usually wakes 3ish times between 9pm and 7am but just to soothe and then he is straight back to sleep. I’m trying to get it down to 1/2 but not being very successful so following for any tips!

Mine has last feed 7-8pm and once asleep is asleep until 6.30-7.30am.

I found before he slept through he was waking one but only feeding for 3ish mins so I was debating then just trying to soothe him with a dummy as he obviously wasnt that hungry if only drinking for a few mins (he wouldn't feed to sleep in the middle of the night either, so not as if he was too tired to feed more). But before I decided to trial it he started sleeping through

Does you LO take a dummy? Could you trial that instead - give the dummy and if she continues to wake or cry then feed

Mine also has an expressed bottle at 6:30pm, goes to sleep between 7 and 7:30pm and wakes once in the night. She wakes up at quite random times (sometimes 12am, sometimes 4am) and properly gulps on the boob so think it is genuine hunger and not comfort/ routine so I’m not changing anything or trying to stop that wake up ☺️

Waking a few times but just a quick comfort suckle and back to sleep

Can you hear her drinking? At this age they are really good at getting milk so can only have short feeding sessions but still get enough milk. My girl is still feeding in the night, it is very normal especially up to 12 months.

My babe doesn’t actually get to the point of opening her eyes. She wriggles a lot and doesn’t stop till I feed her. How much are people feeding at last feed with an expressed bottle? If I pump each boob till it’s drained, like how my babe drains them I get around 6 ounces. How much to make it through a whole night?

Mind wakes 12ish, 3 and then 6. We usually start the day at 7:30 and bedtime is 7-8

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

When does it get better?

I was crying on the phone with the perinatal mental health team today and the lovely lady, bless her, kept assuring me that it gets better. I kept telling her I hope so because people have been saying that since having my LO and it just feels like it keeps getting worse. She assured me it gets better....

Crawling

Did anyone’s little one start crawling yet? I feel like we are falling behind but really have no idea. I’m trying to introduce more floor time but it’s been rough because of having hardwood floors and our 80 lb oblivious to life dog. I got us a carpet for the living room and trying to put the dog out more when the weather allows. She sits like a pro and will roll to get the things she needs😅 but no real signs of crawling yet.

Silver cross pushchair

Has anybody had experience with the sliver cross cove or breeze? Me and my partner can’t make an agreement 😅 I like the cove but is it worth the extra money to the breeze?
