Looking for tips to reduce leaking nappies at night.
My 8 week old baby is a heavy wetter & keeps wetting through each night - making night windows/changes much harder. I’ve tried different brands (including pampers, rascals, nutmeg, Sainsbury’s) and still leaking up the back.
I’m currently using pampers size 2 for 8lb 11oz baby - as seen pampers rated best for newborn heavy wetters. We change him before feeds at night - mainly because he hates a nappy change so it will wake him back up after feed & also because it’s needed due to wetting through.
Doing all the tricks such as ensuring fit is right, high up the back (where he leaks), not too tight/loose, leg frills, P facing down…& still have this issue.
Does anyone else have any tricks to help!?????
Changing a nappy, whole outfit and having to hair dry the sleeping bag to get through the night every night x3 times is starting to become very taxing. 12hr protection my arse!

At that age I would change his nappy when he wakes up for milk. It’s only now that my bubba is abit older (almost2) he doesn’t drink milk anymore so we are able to restrict liquids before bed. We use Huggies bed time nappies they work but still leak on the occasion he’s had too much water in the day.

I changed mine after each feed at that age I think x

I have heard that you can double nappies for night, so if they leak it can go through to the second nappy instead of clothes!

Size up the nappy to size 3 for night time and make sure the vest isn't tight at all around nappy area might need to size that up aswell x

I’ve just tried kit and kin nappies at night due to wetting and so far they are working! I think keep trying different brands until you find what works for you

I’ve found Aldi nappies to hold wet nappies well!

We have done double nappies since 8 weeks because I was sick of it all leaking and having to change bedsheets. Works so well! Just be sure the second layer isn’t too tight (may need to buy the next size up for this layer)
But yeah had no leaks for 2 months now 🙏🏽
